Kathleen is the founder of Melanin Rich Wellness Inc., a Holistic Health centered company dedicated to optimizing the physical, mental and spiritual health of the Black community using African Holistic Health.

She is also an Herbalist, Intermittent Fasting Guru, and Traditional Hoodoo Practitioner. She is a contributing columnist for the Health Matters section of The Challenger Newspaper. She is also a self-published author of the following books:
Kathleen provides revolutionary seminars and workshops emphasizing self-healing and self- realization through radical self-love, intermittent fasting, plant-based nutrition, Black Radicalism, and African based spirituality.
From a very early age Kathleen was raised to have a strong black consciousness and her inherent revolutionary spirit was cultivated. This black consciousness coupled with a heavy influence of black liberation theology and Hoodoo has fueled her love and commitment to empower and educate her people.
Kathleen is a Buffalo, NY native. She is a graduate of the City Honors School and the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB). She received a BA in Sociology and BS in Business Administration (Registered Accounting Program). She also received her Masters in Health Administration and Public Health from D’Youville College. She has worked over a decade in the Accounting profession as a Tax Auditor, Tax Outreach Specialist and Senior Accountant.
Kathleen LOVES writing, Yin Yoga, running outdoors, and Power/Olympic lifting. But most of all, she loves being “mama” to her bright and shining star; her daughter Layla.
